THE AIRPLANE LANDED HARD, AND THE NOSE FELL TO THE PAVEMENT. THE PROPELLERS STRUCK PAVEMENT AT FLIGHT PITCH. A GEAR DRIVE TUBE WAS FOUND BUCKLED IN COMPRESSION. THE LANDING GEAR HAD NOT BEEN INSPECTED AT THE INTERVAL RECOMMENDED BY THE MANUFACTURER.
