POST INCIDENT EXAMINATION DISCLOSED THE LANDING GEAR PIVOT ASSEMBLY FAILED IN DUCTILE TORSIONAL OVERSTRESS. THERE WAS NO EVIDENCE OF FATIGUE OR PREEXISTING CRACKS.
