DURING A LOCAL HIGH SPEED TAXI TEST, THE AIRPLANE BECAME AIRBORNE. SHORTLY AFTER TAKEOFF THE ENGINE QUIT. THE AIRPLANE WAS LANDED STRAIGHT AHEAD IN AN OPEN FIELD.
