THE PLT RPTED THAT THE ENGINE CYLINDER TEMPERATURE WAS VERY HIGH AS HE CROSSED MOUNTAINOUS TERRAIN. HE ELECTED TO MAKE A DOWNWIND PRECAUTIONARY LANDING TO A SHORT AIRSTRIP WITH A HIGH DENSITY ALTITUDE.
