AT TOUCHDOWN HE FOUND IT WAS COVERED WITH ROCKS AND BOULDERS. AFTER THE ACCIDENT, IT WAS NOT POSSIBLE TO RUN THE ENGINE DUE TO IMPACT DAMAGE. AN FAA AVIATION SAFETY INSPECTOR EXAMINED THE ENGINE AND ASSOCIATED FUEL SYSTEM AND WAS UNABLE TO DETERMINE WHY THE ENGINE HAD SUFFERED A LOSS OF POWER.
