DURING TAKEOFF ATTEMPT FROM RUNWAY 36 THE AIRCRAFT VEERED TO THE LEFT ABOUT 250 FEET FROM THE RUNWAY THRESHOLD AND CONTACTED THE GROUND. THE PILOT REPORTED THAT A CROSSWIND CAUGHT HIM OFF GUARD.
