THE PRIVATE PILOT WAS PRACTICING TOUCH AND GO LANDING. THE PILOT REPORTED THE THIRD LANDING WAS A WHEEL LANDING. JUST AFTER TOUCHDOWN, ADJACENT TO LARGE PETROLEUM TANKS, THE AIRCRAFT WEATHER COCKED TO THE RIGHT. THE AIRCRAFT SWERVED RIGHT AND DEPARTED THE RUNWAY. THE LEFT WING STRUCK A STEEL POST AT A TAXIWAY GATE.
