ACCORDING TO THE PLT, HE ENCOUNTERED WX WHILE ON A X-COUNTRY FLT, GOT LOW ON FUEL WHILE TRYING TO GET TO AN ALTERNATE ARPT & MADE A PRECAUTIONARY LANDING IN AN OPEN FIELD.
