WHILE IN THE ARPT TRAFFIC PATTERN FOR LANDING, THE PLT EXPERIENCED AN ENGINE FAILURE AND LANDED SHORT OF THE RWY. THE ACFT COLLIDED WITH A SAND DUNE.
