WHEN ADVISED OF HIGH WINDS AT DESTINATION, PLT DIVERTED TO EN ROUTE ALTERNATE ON ARRIVAL AT ALTERNATE, PLT WAS ADVISED OF 60 DEGREE CROSSWIND WITH GUSTS TO 40 MPH.
