THE RECORDED TRANSCRIPT BETWEEN THE PLT AND THE RENO FSS SPECIALIST REVEALS THAT THE PLT WAS AWARE OF MODERATE ICING CONDITIONS BELOW 18000 FEET AND REPORTED MODERATE TO SEVERE TURBULENCE ALONG HIS PROPOSED ROUTE OF FLT.
