On May 15, 2008, about 1200 coordinated universal time (UTC), a Cessna 210L, Australian registration VH-IDM, collided with terrain near Abingdon Downs, Queensland, Australia. The pilot, the sole occupant, was killed. The airplane departed from Karumba, Australia, for an aerial survey flight; it was reported that the aircraft failed to return as expected. The investigation is under the jurisdiction of the Australian government.
