On June 20, 2008, at 1032 local Norwegian time, a Helitrans AS Fairchild Aircraft Corporation SA226-T(B), registration LN-SFT, crashing into the North Sea approximately 15 NM West of Bergen Airport (ENBR), Bergen, Norway. The aircraft was on a training flight with three persons onboard. Air traffic control observed the airplane disappear from radar at 6,000 feet. No distrass calls were heard and debris was found on the surface of the water. The accident is being investigated by the Accideent Investigation Board of Norway.
