On October 28, 2008, Garuda Indonesia Airlines Boeing 737-400, registeration PK-GZI, experienced a failure of Left Hand Main Landing Gear assembly during taxi-in at Ngurah Rai Airport Bali, Indonesia. Investigation found a crack in one of the brake mounting holes. The landing gear assembly had been in service for 1 day since installed and had 7 cycles since overhaul. The total cycles since new was 15,354. The investigation is under the jurisdiction of the government of Indonesia.
