On February 25, 2010, about 1630 universal coordinated time (1130 local time), a Cessna U206F, Peruvian registration OB-1117, operated by Nazca Airlines, was destroyed when it impacted terrain near Nazca, Ica Province, Peru. The Peruvian commercial pilot and six passengers were fatally injured. Visual meteorological conditions prevailed for the sightseeing flight conducted under Peruvian flight regulations. The investigation is under the direction of the Republic of Peru.
