On February 12, 2010, a Metro Batavia Boeing 737-200, registration PK-YTR, aborted the takeoff from runway 10 at Juanda Airport, Surabaya, Indonesia. There were no injuries to the 5 crew members and 120 passengers onboard and the airplane received minor damage. The flight's intended destination was Ujung Pandang Airport, Makasar, South Sulawesi, Indonesia.The investigation is being conducted by the Indonesian National Transportation Safety Committee. The NTSB has appointed a U.S. Accredited Representative to assist the investigation under the provisions of ICAO Annex 13 as the State of Manufacture and Design of the airplane.
