On May 31, 2010, at 0852 coordinated universal time, a Cirrus SR-22, SP-AVC, was substantially damaged upon impact with terrain following a loss of control while on approach to the Bielefeld-Windelsbleiche airport (EDLI), Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany. The pilot and three passengers were all fatally injured. The airplane had departed Kattowitz, Poland, and was on final approach to its destination at the time of the accident. The investigation is under the jurisdiction of the Government of Germany. This report is for information purposes only and contains only information released by the Government of Germany.
