On May 17, 2010 about 0840 Local Time, a Antonov An-24, registration YA-PIS, operated by Pamir Airways as flight 112, impacted mountainous terrain en route from Konduz Airport to Kabul International Airport. All 39 passengers and 5 flight crew members were killed. This accident is under the jurisdiction of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.
