On April 6, 2011, about 2225 coordinated universal time, a Eurocopter AS-355-F2, Brazilian registration PT-HNA, was destroyed when it impacted terrain near Alto Alegre, Brazil. The pilot and one passenger incurred minor injuries, and three passengers were fatally injured. The flight originated from Surucucu, Brazil (SWUQ) and was destined for Boa Vista, Brazil (SBBV). The flight was conducted under Brazilian flight regulations. This investigation is under the jurisdiction of the Government of Brazil.
