On July 8, 2011, about 2145 coordinated universal time (UTC), a Bell 206L-4 helicopter, TG-MUK, was destroyed after impacting wires and terrain near Tecpan, Guatemala. The pilot was seriously injured and two passengers were fatally injured. The accident investigation is under the jurisdiction and control of the government of Guatemala.
