On February 28, 2012, about 1020 universal coordinated time, a Cessna 208B, Brazilian registration PT-PTB, operated by Cleiton Taxi Aereo Ltda., was substantially damaged when it impacted a lamppost and terrain, during the initial climb after takeoff from Aeroporto Flores (SWFN), Manaus, Brazil. The pilot, the sole occupant, was fatally injured. The flight was destined for the Eduardo Gomes International Airport (SBEG), Manaus, Brazil. This investigation is under the jurisdiction of the Government of Brazil.
