On March 3, 2012, about 1259 universal coordinated time, a Cessna 172N, Venezuelan registration, YV105E, was destroyed when it impacted into terrain while in cruise flight near Municipio Zamora Parroquia Bolivar, Miranda, Venezuela. The pilot was fatally injured. The flight originated from the Oscar Machado Zuloaga Airport (SVCS), Miranda, Venezuela, earlier that day. This investigation is under the jurisdiction of the Government of Venezuela.
