The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA), has notified the NTSB of an ground collision accident involving a Boeing 747-300 and a Boeing 747-400 that occurred on August 20, 2012. The NTSB has appointed a U.S. Accredited Representative to assist the GACA investigation under the provisions of ICAO Annex 13 as the State of Manufacturer and Design of the airplane.
