On October 03, 2012, at 1100 universal coordinated time, a Piper PA-25-260, Brazilian registration PT-DOX, was destroyed when it impacted the ground and was consumed by fire after colliding with high-tension electric wires. The pilot was fatally injured. The flight was conducting crop-dusting operations in the vicinity of Juquia Municipality, State of Sao Paulo, Brazil. This accident investigation is under the jurisdiction of the Aeronautical Accident Prevention and Investigation Center (CENIPA) of Brazil.
