On October 21, 2012, about 1520 coordinated universal time, a Mooney M20E, D-EMHE was destroyed following a loss of control during initial climb from Rosenthal Field Ploessen Airport (EDQP), near Speichersdorf, Germany. The pilot and passenger were fatally injured. The foreign flight was originating at the time of the accident. This investigation is under the jurisdiction and control of the German government.
