On March 27, 2013 about 1445 Beijing time, a Cirrus SR-22, Chinese registration B-9592, experienced a loss of engine power and subsequently ditched near Zhuhai Sanzao Airport, Guangdong Province, China. The airplane was operated as an instructional flight by Zhuhai Hanxing General Aviation Limited under the pertinent civil regulations of China. The airplane was substantially damaged and there were no injuries to the three people on board. The accident is being investigated by the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC). The NTSB has designated an U.S. Accredited Representative under the provisions of ICAO Annex 13, as the state of manufacture for the aircraft and engines.
