On May 11, 2013, at 1422 universal coordinated time (UTC), a Cirrus SR22, F-HTAV, impacted terrain near Aix, France. The pilot was fatally injured and two passengers received minor injuries. The airplane was substantially damaged. The flight originated from the Madrid Cuatro Veintes (LECU), Madrid, Spain, and was en route to the Aix-les-mile Airport (LFMA), Aix, France.
