On May 9, 2013, about 0938 local time, a Korean registered Erickson Air-Crane S-64E helicopter, HL9467, crashed in a lake near the Andong Dam, Kyeongbuk Province, South Korea. The helicopter was owned and operated by the Korean Forest Service. The pilot and copilot, both Korean nationals, died at the scene, and the one maintenance crew chief on board sustained serious injuries.
