On July 15, 2013, about 1157 coordinated universal time, a Cessna 208B, Guyana registration 8R-AMS, operated by Air Services Limited, was substantially damaged when it impacted terrain during approach at Matthew's Ridge Airport (SYMR), Matthew's Ridge, Guyana. Eleven of the 14 occupants were seriously injured. This accident investigation is under the jurisdiction of the Guyana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA).
