On August 27, 2013, at 1521 coordinated universal time, a Piper PA-32T, German registered D-EERB, was destroyed when it impacted terrain under unknown circumstances near Wickede, Germany. Visual meteorological conditions prevailed at the time of the accident. The pilot and six passengers were fatally injured. The flight originated from Langeoog (EDWL), Germany, and was destined for Arnsberg-Menden, Germany.The accident investigation is under the jurisdiction and control of the German government.
