On November 19, 2013, at 1134 coordinated universal time, a Robinson R44 II, Germany-registered D-HOMI, was substantially damaged when it impacted forested terrain near Neuhausen ob Eck, Germany. Instrument meteorological conditions prevailed at the time of the accident. The flight instructor and pilot receiving instruction were fatally injured. The training flight originated from Donaueschingen, Germany. The German investigators received reports that the weather was foggy with 100 meters visibility at the time of the accident.
