On November 16, 2013, approximately 1030 central standard time, a Bell 407 helicopter, HR-AXO, sustained substantial damage during a hard landing for undetermined reasons near Rio Ablajo, Honduras. The pilot and six passengers were not injured. Visual meteorological conditions prevailed for the flight. The flight departed the Toncontin International Airport (MHTG), Tegucigalpa, Honduras, and was en route to Juticalpa, Honduras. The accident investigation is under the jurisdiction and control of the government of Honduras.
