On September 29, 2013, at 0820 universal coordinated time, a Bell 212, VT-HGB, collided with terrain during cruise flight near Murbad (Thane District), India. The helicopter was destroyed and two flight crew and three passengers were fatally injured. The helicopter was operated by United Heli Charters under the pertinent civil regulations of the government of India. The flight originated from Juhu and was destined for Nagpur.
