On November 10, 2013 about 1600 universal coordinated time, a Piper PA-34-220T, Brazilian registration PR-EAG, was destroyed when it collided during a climb with the peak of Corisco Mountain, located in the Serra do Mar mountain range, near Parati Municipality - State of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The pilot and the two passengers were fatally injured. The flight had departed Parati Airport (SDTK), Parati, Brazil and was destined for Campo de Marte Airport (SBMT), Sao Paulo, Brazil. This investigation is under the jurisdiction of the Government of Brazil.
