On November 16, 2013, at 0246 coordinated universal time, a Japanese registered Cessna 206 airplane, JA4000, operated by Honda Airways, experienced a total loss of engine power near Arayamachi, Akita City, Japan. The pilot made a successful emergency landing, and no one on board the airplane was injured. The investigation is under the jurisdiction of the Government of Japan.
