On 22 March 2014, approximately 1126 coordinated universal time, a Glasair II FT, airplane, registration D-EJFN crashed shortly after takeoff from the Lanzen-Turnau Airport, Turnau, Austria. The pilot and passage were fatally injured. The incident is being investigated by the Civil Aviation Safety Investigation Authority of Austria. The NTSB has appointed an Accredited Representative to assist the investigation under the provisions of ICAO Annex 13.
