On August 28, 2014, about 2040 Universal Coordinated Time (UTC), a Robinson R22, Columbian registration HK 4287, operated by Halcones Aviation Flight School, was substantially damaged when it impacted terrain and rolled over following a loss of engine power near Farm Los Pedregales, Amagá, Columbia. The two pilots were not injured. Visual meteorological conditions prevailed for the local, instructional flight that originated at Medellin, Columbia (SKMD). This investigation is under jurisdiction of the Republic of Columbia. This report is for informational purposes only and contains information released by the Republic of Columbia.
