On December 14, 2014, about 1615 local time, an Airbus Helicopter EC135T2+ helicopter, Romanian registration number 348, impacted Lake Siutghiol, Romania. The four occupants, flight and medical crew, were all fatally injured. The helicopter sustained substantial damage. The helicopter was returning from a local HEMS flight. The accident investigation is under the jurisdiction and control of the Romanian government.
