This is preliminary information, subject to change, and may contain errors. The foreign authority was the source of this information. On March 14, 2015, about 1145 UTC, an Eipper Quicksilver GT-500 airplane, EC-DK6, (s/n 0085) impacted terrain after an attempted go-around from Son Alberti Airfield, Islas Balears, Spain. The airplane was substantially damaged and the sole occupant was fatally injured. This investigation is under the jurisdiction and control of the Spanish Civil Aviation and Incident Investigation Commission. Under the provisions of Annex 13 of the Convention on International Civil Aviation as a State of Design, the United States has designated an accredited representative to participate in the investigation.
