On March 29, 2015, at 0920 universal coordinated time (UTC), a Robinson model R44 Raven II helicopter, Czech Republic registration OK-RRJ, serial number 12464, sustained substantial damage when it collided with wooded terrain within Šumava National Park, near Modrava, Czech Republic. The pilot, the sole occupant, was fatally injured. The flight was departing at the time of the accident and had an undetermined destination. The investigation is under the jurisdiction of the Czech Republic government.
