On April 30, 2014, at 1851 coordinated universal time, an Alpi Aviation Pioneer 300J airplane, Portuguese registered CS-UOV, impacted terrain after a low pass near the Evora Airport (LPEV), Evora, Portugal. The two pilots were fatally injured and the airplane was destroyed. Visual meteorological conditions prevailed for the local flight. The accident investigation is under the jurisdiction and control of the Portuguese government.
