On May 22, 2015, at 1630 mountain daylight time, a Canadian registered Air Tractor, AT-802A airplane, C-FDHV, operated by the Conair Group Inc., was destroyed when it collided with terrain under unknown circumstances during firefighting operations near Cold Lake, Alberta, Canada.
