On September 26, 2015, at an unknown time, a Trendak Tercel gyroplane, A11-DUN, impacted terrain after takeoff from an airfield near Odorheiul Secuiesc city, Harghita County, Romania. The pilot, the sole occupant on board, was fatally injured. This investigation is under the jurisdiction and control of the Civil Aviation Safety Investigation and Analysis Center (CIAS) of Romania. Under the provisions of Annex 13 of the Convention on International Civil Aviation as a State of Design, the United States has designated an accredited representative to participate in the investigation.
