On December 6, 2015, about 1400 universal coordinated time, an Embraer EMB-720D, Brazilian registration PT-VNC, operated by a private individual, was destroyed when it collided with trees in Trindade, Brazil, while on approach to Aerodromo Nacional Aviacao (SWNV), Goiania, Brazil. The foreign certificated pilot and two passengers were fatally injured. The personal flight departed from Palmeiras de Goias (SWGP), Palmeiras de Goias, Brazil and was operated under Brazilian flight regulations. This investigation is under jurisdiction of the Government of Brazil.
