On February 6, 2016, about 1710 universal coordinated time, a Bell 206 L-3 helicopter, Venezuelan registration YV250T, was destroyed when it collided with terrain after a loss of control in flight. The flight originated at the Aerópuerto De San Juan De Los Morros (SVJM), Estado Guarice, Venezuela, with a destination of Helipuerto Avila (SVJM), Guarenas, Edo Mirando, Venezuela. The pilot was fatally injured. This investigation is under the jurisdiction of the Government of Venezuela.
