On June 4, 2016, at 1712 universal coordinated time, a Piper PA-34-200T, Peruvian registration OB-1564, was substantially damaged when the nose landing gear collapsed during landing at Moises Benzaquen Rengifo Airport (SPMS), Yurimaguas, Peru. The pilot and five passengers were not injured.This accident investigation is under the jurisdiction of the Peruvian Government.
