On October 25, 2016, about 1250 coordinated universal time (1050 local time), an Embraer 711C, Brazilian registration PT-NQS, operated by a private individual, was destroyed after it impacted the ground shortly after takeoff from Espumoso Airport (SSEZ), Espumoso, Brazil. The pilot and passenger were fatally injured. The investigation is under the jurisdiction of the Government of Brazil.
