On March 25, 2016, about 0345 coordinated universal time, an unoccupied Saab 340B airplane, VP-CKI, encountered jet blast from a taxiing Bombardier Global Express BD-700-1A10 airplane, N683GA, at the Owen Roberts International Airport, George Town, Cayman Islands. As a result of the blast, the Saab 340B contacted ground equipment causing damage to its left underwing, left engine spinner, and left propeller. N683GA was not damaged.The accident investigation is under the jurisdiction and control of the government of the United Kingdom.
