On July 16, 2016, about 1024 universal coordinated time, a Cessna 172K, Russian registration RA-67480, was substantially damaged when it experienced a runway excursion during takeoff from Valday-Avia Airfield, Valday, Novgorod, Russia. The pilot and two passengers were injured and the airplane was substantially damaged.The investigation is under the jurisdiction of the Interstate Aviation Committee of Russia.
