The pilot of the tailwheel-equipped airplane reported that, during the landing roll, the airplane "went hard right." He applied full left rudder and brake, but he could not regain directional control. The airplane veered off the runway to the right, the left main landing gear collapsed, and the left wing impacted the ground. The airplane sustained substantial damage to the left wing. The pilot reported that there were no preaccident mechanical malfunctions or failures with the airplane that would have precluded normal operation.
